Josh Alexander just made history at MLP Northern Rising, capturing the vacant MLP Canadian Championship in a grueling 20-man gauntlet match.
Alexander sealed the victory by hitting Matt Cardona with the C4 Spike, eliminating him to claim the title.
The gauntlet featured a stacked lineup of competitors, including Rich Swann, El Phantasmo, Bhupinder Gujjar, Brent Banks, Rhyno, Billy Gunn, Psycho Mike, Slex, Michael Allen Richard Clark, PCO, Johnny Parisi, QT Marshall, Sheldon Jean, Santino Marella, Bishop Dyer, Mo Jabari, Raj Dhesi, Alex Zayne, and Matt Cardona.
Adding another layer to the story, Don Callis mentioned on commentary that the MLP Canadian Championship will also be making its way to AEW, opening up intriguing possibilities for Alexander and the titles future.
