John Cenas farewell tour has just taken a dramatic turn as new reports confirm that his last WWE match will take place at the TD Garden in Boston this December.

According to WCVB, WWE is locking in Boston as the location for Cenas final bout, though the exact date remains under wraps.

This news comes after Billi Bhatti of the Dirt Sheets Wrestling Informer podcast stated that WWE was targeting December 27 for Cenas last match, aligning it with the annual holiday tour. Bhatti said, I have learned that WWE are en route to setting up an additional PLE in the month of December. They are targeting TD Gardens as the venue, which as you guys know is in Boston, and I believe they will be setting that up as Cenas farewell.

Bhatti also mentioned that WWE initially considered Madison Square Garden, where they traditionally hold a marquee holiday event. However, it now appears that Cenas farewell will officially take place in his hometown, Boston, closing out his in-ring career in front of a hometown crowd.
