WWEs creative direction shifted dramatically when Triple H took the reins from his father-in-law. Vince McMahon handled things in his own way, but many would say that Triple H is outdoing The Chairman of the Board in many ways. That sentiment is even held within the roster.
During Sean Ross Sapps latest Q&A on Fightful Select, he was asked about the perception of Triple H as a booker since taking over WWEs creative direction. The question suggested that while Triple H is praised online, he might be more of a steady booker who gives opportunities within a simple structure. The fan also wondered if the excitement around Triple H has faded among the talent.
Sean Ross Sapp responded by saying that most of the talent still like Triple H, as he has their support. He also noted that Triple H is more accessible, relatable, and open to ideas than Vince McMahon was.
The response from Sapp also shared that some talent had expressed doubts about the repeated message to be patient from those involved in the creative process. This includes some who were recently released and no longer trust that message.
Triple H is still doing the best he can to provide fans with the best entertainment possible. He also saw the things that Vince McMahon did, and it is apparent that he doesnt want to repeat the same problematic booking decisions that he has seen go down in WWE for decades.
We will keep a close eye on WWEs booking as Triple H continues. At this point, he is surprising fans on a weekly basis. It also appears that he doesnt have many complaints about how he is doing within the roster, either.
