WWEs Crown Jewel Championships are on the move literally. With WWE announcing that Crown Jewel 2025 will take place in Perth, Australia, instead of Saudi Arabia, questions have arisen about what happens to the mens and womens titles traditionally held in the Kingdom.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE plans to hold the Crown Jewel Championship matches at the October 11, 2025, event in Australia. On the Crown Jewel PPV on 10/11, they will have the annual Crown Jewel title matches previously scheduled as an annual thing in Saudi Arabia, Meltzer wrote.

The shift comes as Saudi Arabia is set to host the Royal Rumble in January 2026, which is why they wont get another major event later in the year. Meltzer added that WWE expects the Crown Jewel title matches to return to Saudi Arabia in 2026, with Survivor Series reclaiming its focus on WarGames matches.

Last year, Cody Rhodes became the inaugural mens Crown Jewel Champion, defeating then-World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER while holding the WWE Championship. Liv Morgan also made history as the first female Crown Jewel Champion by defeating then-WWE Womens Champion Nia Jax while holding the Womens World Championship.

Now, with the 2025 Crown Jewel set for Australia, WWE is keeping fans guessing as to whether Cody and Liv will walk into the event still holding those titles or if new champions will be crowned before the big showdown.

Do you think WWE made the right call moving Crown Jewel to Australia, or should the tradition have stayed in Saudi Arabia? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
