Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s coverage of a special Thursday night edition of "AEW Collision" on May 8, 2025, coming to you live from the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit, Michigan!

On "Dynamite", Alicia Atout was interviewing Willow Nightingale when they were interrupted by Kris Statlander. Nightingale told her former friend she had nothing to say to her. As she started to walk away, Nightingale grabbed her arm to challenge her to a match tonight.

Last night, the Young Bucks and Ricochet defeated Speedball Bailey, Mark Briscoe, and Swerve Strickland. Tonight, Ricochet will face Angelico. Speedball will take on Dralistico in a rematch. Bailey defeated him in their first matchup.

Following the main event of last week's "Collision", Daniel Garcia challenged any member of FTR to a match. This match was granted for tonight and he will face Cash Wheeler or Dax Harwood.

Last month, Anthony Bowens defeated Blake Christian. Tonight, he'll face Christian's friend, "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson.

After losing to Hangman Page in the Owen Cup last week, Kyle Fletcher returns to action. He'll be joined by Don Callis Family members Lance Archer, Rocky Romero, and Trent to take on The Outrunners, AR Fox, and ROH World Champion, Bandido.


With Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness on commentary, "Timeless" Toni Storm comes out on a balcony. She said her "first time was messy, sweaty, and painful." But she only wanted more. It was risky, sometimes with one, two, or three people and sometimes with random objects. "One day it will soil my soul, but it is what I was born to do." She said if you think she's talking about sexual intercourse, get your mind out of the gutter because not even the best bang doesn't compare to being Women's World Champion.

Backstage, Lexi Nair interviewed Paragon. Roddy Strong said he thought being back together would be easier, but it's been tough. But they're one of the best tag teams in the world. They were interrupted by GYV. They said they're one of the best tag teams, but they've gone soft. They'll happily get in the ring with them to prove it.


Ricochet makes his way to the ring. Angelico is accompanied by Serpentico. Ricochet is cautious of Angelico and backs up. He does a snapover roll through on Angelico. Angelico responds by chopping him to the mat and covering him for one. Angelico works his arm and sends him to the mat and won't let Ricochet up. He mocked him by rubbing his head. Ricochet gets back to his feet and puts Angelico in a full arm drag twist. Ricochet rolled out of the ring. Ricochet dove on to Angelico and chased Serpentico with a chair.

After the break, Ricochet went for a 450, but Angelico moved and sent him into the barricade. They exchange knee lifts. Angelico plants Ricochet face first into the mat. Angelico blocks a punch and lands one of his own. Ricochet catches Angelico, but Angelico responds with two lariats. He locked Ricochet's arm between his leg and held the other hand while slapping his head. Angelico traps Ricochet in a half crab, but he gets to the rope. Ricochet does a guillotine of the rope, followed with a flying forearm and standing Shooting Star Press. Ricochet hits him with the Spirit Gun for the win.

Winner: Ricochet

After the match, Ricochet welcomes boos because they cheer for the Detroit Lions. He's been here less than a year and has beaten almost all of AEW's favorites. Ricochet sets his sights on Zack Gowen. He was a huge fan of Gowen's. He told Gowen's kids he used to be on this side and now he's on this side before making a leg joke. Security tried to make him leave and he took them both out. He put one of the guys in the ring and cut his hair. Gowen got in the ring and took the scissors. Ricochet kicked Gowen in the leg and made him fall. He followed with a Spirit Gun. Ricochet took his prosthetic leg off and carried it over his shoulder.


Fletcher, Romero, Trent, and Archer are accompanied by Don Callis. The Outrunners and AR Fox come out next. They are followed by their partner, Bandido. Fletcher and Bandido start us off. Fletcher backs him up to the rope and goes for a chop, but Bandido moved and chopped him. He shoulder tackled Fletcher and Fletcher did the same, knocking him down. Bandido with a tejares takedown. Trent tagged in and took down Bandido. He followed with blows to the head. Romero tagged in and they double teamed Bandido.

Fox tagged in and gave a big boot to Trent and Rocky. Fox followed with a swan dive. Archer got in the ring and put Fox in the Blackout, but he got down. Fox with an enzuiguri and then he threw Rocky into Turbo's boot. Turbo tagged in and worked Rocky's arm before tagging in Truth. They double teamed Rocky and then Trent. They ran the corners between both mens. Trent pulled Rocky from the ring and Archer double checked The Outrunners.

After the break, Fletcher knocked his opponents off the apron and kicked Truth before rolling him in. Bandido tagged in and he superkicked Fletcher and followed with a tornillo. RPG Vice attack Bandido from behind. Archer punched Bandido in the heads and The Outrunners sent Archer over the top rope. Fox jumped off Bandido's shoulders to dive on Archer. Bandido ran up The Outrunners' back to take out Archer.

The Outrunners did the double bi elbow on Fletcher. Fox jumped onto Fletcher and Bandido did a frog splash. Archer broke up the pin. Rocky and Truth fight on the outside. Bandido went for the 21Plex on Fletcher, but he reversed into a suplex and a Blue Thunder Bomb. Trent tagged in and hit Fox on the apron. Fox with a cannonball on Fletcher and Fisherman Buster on Trent and a DDT on Archer through the ropes. Fox hit Rocky with his feet and used the ropes. He did a cutter on Fletcher and one to Rocky. Fox went to the ropes, but Trent held the leg so that Fletcher could slam into him.

Archer flattened The Outrunners on the outside and Bandido went for a crossbody, but Fletcher caught him. RPG Vice with a double knee lift on Bandido. Fox hit Fletcher with a pumpkick and a double clothesline on RPG Vice. Fox went up top and while Fletcher distracted the ref, Archer chokeslammed him. RPG Vice did their new finisher, The Jackal Driver.

Winner: Don Callis Family


Ricochet vs. Zach Gowen was made official for Beach Break.
