Saraya surprised fans when she announced she was leaving AEW after being with the company for over two years. While many are curious about what shell do next, she has now revealed that AEW once pitched a romantic storyline for her, but she turned it down.
While speaking on her Rulebreakers podcast, Saraya revealed that AEW once asked her to be part of a love story with Daddy Magic. She turned it down because she had never done a love storyline in her career and didnt want to start.
At the time, she had a boyfriend and didnt feel right kissing someone else, even if it was just acting and so she turned it down. She said that was the only storyline she ever refused.
For her, if a story involves kissing and shes in a relationship, she just doesnt think its okay. She also said no one ever asked her to do something like that until she joined AEW. Even though she likes Daddy Magic and thinks hes a good guy, she didnt feel comfortable with it and just turned it down.
Saraya also made it clear that she does not see herself returning to WWE this year. Regardless, Saraya simply had to make it clear she had no intention of doing a romantic storyline and its unlikely she will do it in WWE, if she goes back there.
