Duke Lesnar is stepping out of his fathers shadow and making his own mark in the world of sports.
The 14-year-old son of WWE megastar Brock Lesnar has been drafted into the Western Hockey League (WHL) by the Medicine Hat Tigers in the recent WHL Prospects Draft.
Duke has been tearing it up on the ice, playing for the Notre Dame Hounds U15 Prep team in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL U15). In 30 games, he racked up 13 goals and 28 points, catching the attention of WHL scouts and setting himself up as a player to watch ahead of the 2029 NHL Entry Draft.
While Duke is rising in the hockey world, Brock Lesnars WWE career remains in limbo. The Beast Incarnate has been on the sidelines since SummerSlam 2023 and hasnt been seen on WWE programming since his name came up in connection with allegations involving Vince McMahon in early 2024.
As of May 2025, WWE has no confirmed plans for Brock Lesnars return, leaving his wrestling future up in the air.
Duke Lesnar is just getting started, but with the Lesnar name behind him and a promising hockey career ahead, all eyes are on the 14-year-old to see if he can live up to the hype. Will he become the next big name in the NHL, or is wrestling still in his blood? Stay tuned because this story is just heating up.
