Back in 2024, Maxxine Dupri and Candice LeRae were involved in a heated feud, which saw LeRae reference Dupris late brother in a controversial promo. With that in mind, Dupri has now revealed her honest reaction to her late brother being referenced.
While speaking to Gorilla Position, Maxxine Dupri was asked about her late brother being mentioned in the unscripted promo with Candice LeRae mid-match and whether she was happy with it being part of the storyline.
Dupri explained that she was okay with it. She understood there was a lot of narrative surrounding it, but for her, it was an opportunity to include her brother in something, regardless of whether it was good or bad.
Dupri admitted that she made the mistake of not telling her parents about it first, but since Candice didnt have a mic, she thought it wouldnt be a big deal and figured theyd just see what happened. She added that telling her parents first would have been the more considerate thing to do, but aside from that, she was fine with how the moment played out.
During the March 11, 2024 edition of Monday Night Raw, Candice LeRae questioned Dupris place in WWE, mentioningfan criticism and even mentioning Dupris deceased brother.
Maxxine Dupri would eventually get her revenge on Candice LeRae as she was able to beat LeRae and right now Dupri continues to be a highlight alongside the Alpha Academy. The fact that she views her brother being referenced in a positive way is just a sign of how mature she is and fans respect her for that.
