R-Truth has always considered John Cena to be his Childhood hero and ever since Cena turned heel, fans have been wondering if Truth will ever face Cena in a match. With that in mind, Truth has finally addressed whether hes ever going to wrestle John Cena.
While speaking on Chris Van Vliet, R-Truth was asked about squaring off against John Cena now that he is a heel. R-Truth said it would only happen if the timing and circumstances were just right.
Truth pointed out that hes not the same as he used to be; hes a good guy now, kisses babies, and doesnt fight dirty. So for that match to happen, things would have to change in a big way.
Truth admitted hed be excited for the match but isnt confident it would actually happen, especially considering Cenas recent behavior. Truth questioned whether Cena would even pay attention to him and said that while he tries to be the voice of reason, hes mostly been staying out of the drama.
So far, R-Truth has been supporting John Cena ahead of his match against Randy Orton at the Backlash Premium Live Event. Therefore, well have to wait and see if Truth and Cena will eventually duke it out, as fans feel it will end up in a massive heartbreak if it happens.
