EJ Nduka parted ways with AEW after his contract expired last week but he decided to go on a rant against his former employer on social media. With that in mind, AEWs internal reaction to Ndukas outburst has been revealed.
While speaking on Fightful Selects Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about AEWs internal reaction to EJ Nduka going scorched earth on AEW. Sapp noted that he didnt hear a single thing about it in AEW, saying, I didnt hear a word about it. This made it clear AEW really didnt care what Nduka had to say at all.
This comes after EJ Nduka went on a scathing rant on Twitter following his exit from AEW. He said he was never meant to sit on the sidelines, adding that benches are for people who arent sure of themselves.
Nduka stated that hes ready to move forward. Nduka ended his post with a massive statement, saying that anyone who thinks he was meant to ride the bench should call the 1-800 number because they must have mesothelioma, calling them a pencil neck reject.
Nduka didnt just stop there as he threw more shade at AEW as he stated that AEW simply didnt know what to do with him, as he compared himself to gold, saying, Some people dont know what to do with Gold even if you hand it to them.
EJ Nduka signed with AEW in early 2023 but didnt get much time on screen. He did team up with Lee Johnson in ROH as the tag team LeeJ. Before AEW, he wrestled in WWEs NXT as Ezra Judge and later made a name for himself in MLW. Nonetheless, well have to wait and see whats next in store for Nduka, as fans felt he shouldve had a better run in Tony Khans company.
