Rhio is once again the PROGRESS Womens Champion. Over the weekend, Rhio defeated Nina Samuels to become a two-time champ. What sweetened the pot was that Rhios PROGRESS career was on the line. With so many rumors on Rhio possibly signing with WWE, it was definitely an expectation for her to lose here. Kanji was the special guest referee.
Rhio ended Samuels reign at 126 days.
Samuels will move on to a match with Kanji. This match will be a PROGRESS Career vs. Career match which Kanji set out the challenge.
Rhio also mentioned that next year PROGRESS will have a Womens Strong Style Tournament.
