Hulk Hogans Real American Freestyle Wrestling is all people can talk about right now, and the Hulkster recently claimed that his venture could be bigger than UFC and WWE. Unsurprisingly, Hogan has now been called out over this claim in a big way.
While speaking on the Wrestling Outlaws, Vince Russo called out Hulk Hogan for his claim that his new wrestling company will be bigger than WWE and UFC. Russo said Hogan has made big promises like this before, like when he joined TNA. Back then, Hogan went on TV shows and said TNA would become a huge deal.
Russo said its okay to dream big, but saying the promotion will be bigger than WWE or UFC just isnt realistic. He believes this might be the most over-the-top and craziest thing Hogan has ever said.
Thats not all Hogan said as he recently took a shot at WWE, saying his new promotion wont use a team of 25 writers telling wrestlers what to say, how to act, or which catchphrases to use. Instead, he said the wrestlers in his company will speak from the heart, with a focus on keeping things real and natural.
Hulk Hogan also teasedDonald Trumps appearance at Real American Freestyle Wrestlings debut show on August 30th. Therefore, we will have to wait and see if it will see any measure of success this year, as fans feel Hogan might have already bitten off more than he can chew.
