WWE LFG cut the roster in half during the May 4 episode, sending eight hopefuls home in the shows most emotional installment to date. But it didnt take long for one of the eliminated stars to speak out. Just moments after the episode aired, Leigh Laurel broke her silence on social mediaand made it clear that her journey is far from over.
This isnt the end, but a beginning & what a hell of an opportunity to start my pro wrestling career as a Future Great , Laurel wrote on X. The message struck a chord with fans who had watched her give everything in a hard-fought match against P. Nasty under the guidance of Booker T.
Booker ultimately eliminated Laurel, saying hes looking for the best professional wrestler. It was one of four eliminations on the womens side, with Tatyanna Dumas, Bayley Humphrey, and Sirena Linton also sent home by their respective coachesBubba Ray Dudley, The Undertaker, and Mickie James.
The format was brutal: each coach had to pit two of their own female contestants against each other and then personally decide who to cut. The result? Just two women remain on each team, and only four will continue the chase toward the finals at Madison Square Garden.
With the womens eliminations complete, attention now turns to the male semifinal matches set to air next. But fans are already calling for some of the eliminated womenlike Laurelto get another shot.
Should Leigh Laurel have stayed in the competition? Who do you think got cut too soon? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
