WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is still seen as a controversial figure by many fans, which led to loud boos during his appearance on the January 6 episode of Monday Night RAW. He continues to get negative reactions at certain events, and he has now addressed getting booed and how he handles them.
While speaking to Alfred Konuwa, Hulk Hogan was asked why he sometimes gets booed during public appearances and if he plans to fix his image for the people who dont like him and if he has a way to handle them.
Hogan explained that many people forget wrestling is a show. He said even big stars like The Rock get booed sometimes, depending on the city. Hogan said hes been booed in places like Los Angeles as well, but those moments still get tons of attention online.
Hogan mentioned that lots of people give him advice about why he gets booed or what he should change, but then in other cities like New York or Chicago, the crowd cheers for him. So he wonders if he should ask those same people what to do when the crowd loves him.
Hogan said hes used to getting both cheers and boos, and that no reaction at all would be a real problem. He said haters are always going to hate, and hes changed a lot over time, just like when he joined the nWo. Hes changed how he lives and what he believes in, but there will always be people who criticize him.
In the end, the Hulkster said hes gotten so used to people talking about him that if they stopped, he wouldnt feel like himself anymore. He said his whole career has been like this, being both loved and hated.
As reported earlier, on top of the chorus of boos, off-camerachants of F*** Hulk Hogan could be heard throughout the arena.In fact, the likes ofSeth Rollins also believe that the WWE Hall of Famer deserved all the boos he received in California.
Despite all the boos he gets, the WWE Hall of Famer is still a major name in the world of professional wrestling and thats never going to change, which is Hogan is simply used to getting booed now.
