WWE released several stars this week, and the mood among fans and talent has been understandably serious. At a time when people are still reacting to the news, Naomi made a comment that targeted Jade Cargill. However, it appears she is now receiving a ton of backlash for what she said.
Naomi took to Twitter today in light of the latest slew of releases and went after Jade Cargill as she advocated for Jade Cargill to get released instead of everyone else, saying, If I was doing releases I would have kept everyone and just released @Jade_Cargill.
Unsurprisingly, quite a few fans were furious over what Naomi said, considering the current situation. One fan took to Twitter and said WWE should have released her since she was awful, saying, They shouldve released you youre awful. Naomi responded to the fan and stated that WWE had already released her and now shes back, saying, They already did and Im still here muthafluffffffffffa
Another fan criticized Naomi by saying she had no right to speak on the matter, especially since she had once been let go herself, saying, I dont know what right you have to talk about that if youve already been thrown out on the street.
Naomi responded by pointing out that people didnt show her the same kind of energy or support when she was going through her own struggles after leaving WWE. She added that this kind of double standard is why she cant stand such people, saying, They didnt have this energy when I was in exile thats why I cant stand these mfs
Another fan told Naomi that she had actually quit and left the tag team titles on Adam Pearces desk and told her not to twist her story, saying, Actually, you quit and put the tag titles on Adam Pierces desk. Dont get it twisted.
Naomi responded by saying that Adam Pearce didnt even have a desk at the time and added that the current womens tag division exists because of what she and Sasha Banks did, making it clear that people should be thankful, as she said, Adam didnt even have a desk at the time anyway you have a tag division bc of it thank us later I guess.
One fan pointed out how Jade Cargill actually draws views unlike her, saying, You wish, she is drawing views. Another fan said they would have released Naomi and claimed that if it werent for her husband Jimmy Uso, she wouldnt even have a job in WWE, saying, I would have released you. If it wasnt for Jimmy, you wouldnt even have a job.
