TNA iMPACT delivered another loaded show on May 1, but for some fans watching on TNA+, the night didnt get off to the smoothest start.
Several readers reached out to Ringside News reporting major streaming problems with the TNA+ service during the opening segment. Specifically, viewers noted that the screen went completely black right as TNA World Champion Joe Hendry kicked off the broadcast. While audio continued for some, the visual feed was either frozen or non-existent for a chunk of the opening 30 minutes.
One frustrated viewer said they missed Hendrys entire promo and Trick Williams surprise video appearance, only catching up once the feed returned. The issue didnt seem to affect AXS TV or Sportsnet viewers, pointing to a platform-specific glitch.
Thankfully, the situation was reportedly resolved about halfway through the first half-hour, but not before a number of fans missed what many are calling a pivotal setup for the upcoming Hendry vs. Trick Williams rivalry.
The company issued the following statement on social media addressing the issue:
If TNA wants fans to keep paying for their premium service, theyll need to lock down issues like this fast. With Joe Hendry and Trick Williams heating up and a stacked card every week, the last thing anyone wants is a black screen when business is picking up. Fix the feed, keep the chaos.
