Stone Cold Steve Austin might be cracking open another cold onewith a mic in front of him. The WWE Hall of Famer revealed during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show that hes seriously considering stepping back into the podcast game after years away from producing new episodes.

I guess I got lucky because I looked at a lot of people when I first started doing the podcast and interviewing people, and when you first start talking to people, even though youve been talking your whole life, interviewing is something different. Its a learned skill, Austin told Helwani. I guess I grabbed onto it okay. I wouldnt say Im the best by any stretch. Ive been thinking a little bit about starting back in the podcast business. I think my podcast aired five years ago. Ive been thinking about getting back in the game. Maybe something more about my life than interviewing people. Im trying to make a decision on that.

Austin first launched The Steve Austin Show in 2013, and it quickly became a pioneering force in pro wrestling podcasting. Long before every wrestler had a mic and a Spotify feed, Austin was already talking to the biggest names in the industryBret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Eric Bischoff, Jim Ross, and many more.

There were two versions of the show: the family-friendly Steve Austin Show and the more explicit Steve Austin Show Unleashed!, which allowed the Texas Rattlesnake to go unfiltered. Both ran weekly and covered everything from match breakdowns to Austins personal life and his deep love for trucks, hunting, and beer.

While The Steve Austin Show technically still exists, its been airing reruns for years. Austins recent comments now signal that hes not done with podcastinghes just deciding what direction to go next.
