Unveiled in 2025, the Chargers deemed the navy uniforms "a true modern throwback." It's a nod to threads worn in the 1990s and early 2000s, which coincided with a Super Bowl XXIX appearance and four AFC West titles. The navy jersey includes white modern numbers with an old-school outline and gold trim. The navy pants boast a bolt on the side, while a bolt also runs on the shoulders and helmet. "Super Chargers" is stitched in white on the neckline. In a trend that's becoming more common around the league, the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles offer a matchup of throwback uniforms. Different from the previous all-purple combination is a new "midnight purple" color, which is meant to emulate the iridescence of a raven's feather, and "Purple Rising" running on the inside collar. The New Orleans Saints are going gold against the Cleveland Browns.
