AEW star Tommaso Ciampahas aspirations to wrestle in NJPW, and has his sights set on one man. In an interview with SBNation, Ciampa said he wants to wrestle former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi."Shingo always jumps out at me as someone I've always wanted to share a ring with," Ciampa said. "I don't know that my body or personal life at this point bodes well for a full-on tour or G1 tournament, but doing a show here or there, or three shows, I'd be 100% open to that."Takagi has had his share of matches with AEW talent as of late. Over the summer, he wrestled the late Pac and Claudio Castagnoli in a tag match and blamed them for his poor showing in the G1. After calling out Castagnoli, he defeated him at Destruction last month. He is scheduled to face a returning Jon Moxley at Power Struggle on November 3.As for Ciampa, he wrestledAndrade El Idolo for the National Championship at AEW WrestleDream. He came up short, but did get in some comedic spots against the champion, tearing off his pants to reveal black trunks that read "I just know" in response to El Idolo's "How you know?" catchphrase and attacking and pinning El Idolo's pants until the pants kicked out at two.
