Since joining the promotion following her WWE release in 2025, Shotzi Blackheart has been a cornerstone of the MLW women's division, including holding the MLW Women's Featherweight Championship for the bulk of 2026. That will be changing, however, as Blackheart transitions into becoming a TNA Knockout. Fightful Select reports that Blackheart has signed with TNA following her appearance at TNA's TV tapings in Alabama on Tuesday. It's unclear how long Blackheart's deal is for.Blackheart showing up in TNA had many wondering about her status with MLW, leading to an earlier Fightful report which clarified that her most recent MLW contract had been for six months, expiring on October 5. Blackheart was said to still be on good terms with MLW and had "committed" to dates working for the promotion in 2027, though it would seem her contract with TNA would prevent that. Those close to the situation indicated MLW was at least aware of the possibility Blackheart could be moving on, as they are said to have "contingencies" in case it happened. Despite Blackheart losing the Featherweight Championship to Masha Slamovich last month, the change has not yet ad on TV, suggesting Blackheart is still scheduled to appear on upcoming episodes of "MLW Fusion."Blackheart will be able to keep some dates outside of TNA, as she is still currently scheduled to appear on "Chris Jericho's Rock N' Wrestling Rager at Sea" cruise next month, hosted by her old nemesis Chris Jericho. Though this will be her first stint in TNA as a contracted wrestler, Blackheart wrestled twice on "Impact" in 2018, losing a singles match with Allie before teaming with Tessa Blanchard in a losing effort against Allie and Kiera Hogan. She would later also work two TNA spot shows in 2019, including a singles match against Madison Rayne.
