Over the summer, news stories rolled in over the dynamic duo of Big Cass and Enzo Amore reuniting in WWE again after nearly a decade. Though Cass is back, many, particularly the audience, are awaiting when Amore will stand alongside Cass again. And because of that expectation, Cass' comeback seems curbed.According to information WrestleVotes on Fightful Select has obtained, it appears that those within WWE's creative have a feeling that the WWE Universe is patiently awaiting Amore's arrival, which is causing a hindrance towards Cass' current run and where it could go.Thoughts of this nostalgic reunion started to sound more realistic when it was announced that Cass' (formerly known as Big Bill) contract expired in AEW in late May or early June, and when it was reported that Amore was spotted at the Performance Center in late May. After several teased vignettes, Cass made his return on the August 3 edition of "WWE Raw," where he brutally attacked Je'Von Evans. But Amore has yet to appear. As of this report, Amore is not currently in the WWE. Most recently, reporters like Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, surmised that Cass and Amore might be separated, with Cass staying on the main roster, and Amore returning to his old stomping grounds in "WWE NXT." However, that never materialized.Cass has been his own one-man wrecking crew since his return, as he's laid out Dragon Lee and Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio this past Monday after taking a loss to Lee on the September 28 edition of "Raw."
