Several wrestlers who have worked under Tony Khan have spoken glowingly about him, and now Brian Cage has praised the AEW CEO.Khan has given wrestlers creative freedom and treated them fairly, with the likes of WWE Hall of Famer Sting and Toni Storm among those who have vouched for him. Cage, in an interview with the "No But Seriously Though" podcast, said that Khan may be too nice and shared a personal experience that demonstrated the AEW CEO's generosity."Tony's a really nice guy, and sometimes I feel like too nice, like he should be more people's boss than people's friends. But he's a good guy," he said. "He wants everybody to like him too, but he's also like, I mean, I always put him over too. Like, even when I got signed and I tore my bicep, like WWE would have just rescinded my contract and like [said], 'Get the heck out of here.' They [AEW] hadn't even countersigned yet. So technically, I wasn't even under contract, and he's like, 'Don't worry, get the surgery. We're going to sign you. We're going to pay you. We'll take care of you. Just when you're ready, let us know.'"Cage further praised Khan, noting how he helped many wrestlers and their families in AEW following tragedies, like the families of Brody Lee and the Briscoes."He's an easygoing guy, and also he's always Captain Positivity, but I've seen him lose it before. But I feel like he'd rather sway away from like confrontations," he added.Cage said that Khan wants all the wrestlers in AEW to be excited and enjoy working in the promotion.
