Roberto Mancini has dismissed reports that Manchester City have been found guilty of financial breaches allegedly committed during his time as manager, including a double contract handed to him. Reports claimed last week that City were expected to be found guilty on the vast majority of the 115 charges brought by the Premier League in their long-running legal case.Some of the allegations relate to the period between 2009 and 2013, when Mancini was in charge at the Etihad and delivered Citys first Premier League title in 44 years.The Premier League alleged in 2023 that City had failed to provide full details of manager remuneration in its relevant contracts with its manager during that period.Mancini was paid a basic salary of �1.45 million, alongside �1.75 million as a consultant for a team controlled by City owner Sheikh Mansour in Abu Dhabi.He was asked about the reports while speaking to the media in Turkey, ahead of Italys UEFA Nations League match on Monday, but insisted the matter had nothing to do with him.Its not an issue that concerns me, he said in Bursa. Its nothing new because this matter has been discussed for the last four or five years.Manchester City has not been found guilty, and the alleged double contract is not my concern. The Premier League has also declined to comment, describing the matter as a private and confidential process.City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak reiterated the clubs position on Saturday, insisting there had been no change in their approach to the case.Nothing has changed regarding the case, Al Mubarak said, while adding that our confidence and intent in proving the clubs innocence is just as strong as when this began.Mancini, who has now returned for a second spell as Italy coach, said he had no interest in becoming involved in the dispute between his former club and the Premier League.He was appointed City manager in December 2009 and guided the club to the FA Cup in 2011 before ending their long wait for a Premier League title the following year.Mancini eventually left the club in 2013, but his time in Manchester is now part of the Premier Leagues wider financial case against City.
