Nottingham Forest and Tottenham played out a goalless draw at the City Ground as both sides missed chances to claim all three points. Sandro Tonali and Jan-Paul van Hecke both attempted to clear, but their efforts collided before Neco Williams bundled the ball over the line.The goal was initially awarded but was sent for a VAR review, with referee Craig Pawson eventually ruling that Williams had handled the ball.Late chances but no winnerForest began to look the more dangerous side during the closing stages, with their substitutions adding more energy to the attack.Kinsky was forced to deal with a dangerous situation involving Marmoush in the 72nd minute, while Forest continued to threaten from wide areas.Tottenham remained a threat on the counter, though, and came close to breaking the deadlock in the 89th minute.Kudus managed to get a cross into the box from the right and Dominic Solanke rose to meet it, but his header landed on the roof of the net.Spurs continued to push during five minutes of added time, with Mudryk winning a free-kick after turning Daniel Munoz on the left.Forest defended the resulting set-piece and survived further Tottenham pressure, while Kudus was unable to find a team-mate with a late cross.
