Luka Doncic ex-fiance, Anamaria Goltes, has officially withdrawn her child support petition in California, with both sides now looking to resolve the matter privately while a separate custody case continues in Slovenia, according to ESPNs Dave McMenamin.Goltes, who shares two daughters with the Los Angeles Lakers star, had originally filed the petition in the Superior Court of Los Angeles in March seeking child support and attorney fees. A court date had been scheduled for Aug. 14, but the filing was withdrawn before proceedings moved forward.I am withdrawing my petition for child support with the specific intention of resolving this matter amicably and by a mutual agreement which is in the best interests of our children, Goltes said in a statement included in her responsive pleading, according to TMZ.Despite the withdrawal in California, the broader custody dispute remains active in Slovenia. Doncic filed for an interim injunction with Slovenian courts in February, seeking immediate contact with daughters Gabriela and Olivia while also addressing joint custody and child support, ESPNs Dave McMenamin reported. Sources told ESPN that the custody proceedings remain under the jurisdiction of the Slovenian courts.The ongoing family matter also played a major role in Doncics offseason plans. Following the Lakers playoff elimination, the five-time All-NBA guard announced he would not represent Slovenia in this summers FIBA World Cup European qualifying games in order to remain with his children.I love my daughters more than anything, and they will always come first in my life, Doncic wrote on social media.
