Stephanie Vaquers Devils Kiss has become one of the most recognizable moves in NXT, especially with Booker T yelling his now-famous ah! every time she hits it. Fans have picked up on it too, turning the move into a crowd moment every time she lands it. But according to Vaquer, she nearly stopped using the move altogether when she first joined WWE. While speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Vaquer revealed that she had been using the move long before WWE, but once she signed, she started thinking about dropping it. She admitted that reactions to the move made her uncomfortable, and she didnt like how some people viewed it. She explained that during training in NXT, coaches encouraged her to keep it because fans already recognized the move. Even then, she said she still wasnt fully sold on bringing it back. What finally changed her mind was Booker T. His loud reactions on commentary helped turn the Devils Kiss into a fan favorite, and Vaquer said that energy made her feel differently about using it again. Now the Devils Kiss gets one of the biggest reactions during her matches, with fans joining Booker T every time she hits it. Do you think Booker T helped turn the Devils Kiss into a fan favorite, or would it have caught on anyway? Let us know what you think and drop your feedback in the comments.
