Kyle Fletcher suffered an injury that forced him to vacate the TNT Championship. To crown a new champion, there will be a Casino Gauntlet on Dynasty. Tommaso Ciampa qualified for the #1 entrant spot. Tonight, RUSH will face Anthony Bowens to get the #2 spot.Fletcher's injury also affected a planned Dynasty match that would've seen him and Kazuchika Okada face the Young Bucks. Instead the Bucks will face Okada and Konosuke Takeshita. Before that, the Bucks will face Don Callis Family members, El Clon and Hechicero. Okada will defend the International Championship against Myron Reed after he got the better of Okada last week.On Sunday, Thekla will defend the Women's World Championship against Jamie Hayter while Marina Shafir will face Alex Windsor on Zero Hour. Tonight, the Brawling Birds take on Thekla and Shafir in tag action.Two weeks ago, Hikaru Shida returned to AEW after nearly 500 days and came up short against Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship. Tonight, she'll team up with Nightingale's friend, Kris Statlander "just like old times".Last Saturday, The Hurt Syndicate announced that they had returned and that Bobby Lashley had been cleared. They'll be in action tonight.On Dynamite, The Dogs challenged JetSpeed and Mistico for the Trios Championship. That match will happen tonight.
The Dogs come to the ring first. Followed by the champions.Mistcio and Finlay start us off. Kidd hit him from behind. Finlay threw Mistico out of the ring. Kidd threw Speedball into the barricade. Kidd and Speedball get in the ring. Kidd chopped him and Speedball took him down with a headscissors. Kidd rolled out of the ring and before Speedball could dive, Connors hit him from behind. Knight took Connors down with two armdrags. Knight threw Connors to the outside. Finlay hit Knight from behind and then he hit Mistico with bodyshots. Mistico with a headscissors takedown. He did the same to Connors. Mistico went for a dive, but Kidd slapped him in the face. They exchanged blows. All six are battling. Speedball landed a crossbody on Kidd on the outside. Knight threw Connors to the outside and landed a crossbody. Mistico dropped Finlay on the outside and landed a tornillo.Speedball sent Kidd into the barricade while Mistico did the same to Finlay. Knight beat up Connors. Mistico slammed Finlay's face into the announce table. Mistico bit his face. The champs were going for the dives, but Finlay and Kidd stopped them and Connors pounced Knight. Kidd scoop slammed Speedball onto the floor and Finlay ran Mistico back first into the ring post.After the break, Finlay has Knight in a headlock. Knight fights out and hits him with a dropkick. Mistico tagged in and took down Finlay with a n elbow and a headscissors takedown and did the same to Kidd. Mistico chopped Connors and took him down with an armdrag. The champs land stereo topes on The Dogs. Knight tagged in, but Kidd knocked him off the ropes. Finlay slammed Knight to the mat and Connors pounced Knight. Speedball broke up the pin. Finlay forearmed Speedball to the mat. Connors took down Mistico. Knight landed a DDT on Connors. Kidd hit Knight with a pumpkick. Speedball Superkicked Kidd. Speedball fought off Finlay and landed a moonsault on Kidd over the ropes. Knight hit a Phenomenal Forearm on Finlay.Connors and Knight battle up top. Mistico kicked Connors kicked him in the spine and landed La Mistica. Speedball kicked Finlay and Knight landed the UFO Splash on Finlay, but he got the knees up. Kidd decked Speedball and kicked Mistico in the head and landed a piledriver on him. Knight blocked Kidd and drove him into the corner. Kidd had Knight lifted when Speeball landed Ultima Weapon on Kidd's back. Speedball tagged in and Superkicked Kidd and hit Connors with a knee lift and kicked Finlay. Kidd tried a suplex, but Speedball reversed into a straightjacket and pinned him for two.Connors speared Speedball and Kidd and Connors double teamed Knight before Kidd turned him inside out. Kidd landed a piledriver on Speedball and flipped him into Finlay, who held him in a vertical suplex so Connors could spear him from the top rope. Kidd pinned Speedball for the win.Winners (and new): The DogsAfter the match, Strong said there's only two of them, but he'll be ready. Orange hung up the phone and forgot to ask, but he'll be ready.
Stat comes to the ring and is joined by Shida. Ava Lawless and Gigi Rey are already in the ring.Shida and Lawless start us off. Shida lays in multiple punches. She hit a running knee in the corner before punching her in the head 10 times. Shida follows with a slam. Stat tagged herself in and Rey tagged in and hit Stat. Stat followed with two suplexes. She sent Lawless off the apron. Stat hit Rey with a knee to the midsection and landed Staturday Night Fever.Winner: Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida
