World Xtreme Wrestling is heading back to where it all began, and the promotion is making it clear this isnt just a one-time event. WXW announced that it will return to Mountainville Memorial Hall in Allentown, Pennsylvania the longtime home of the original promotion founded by WWE Hall of Famer Afa Anoai Sr. The comeback starts with WXW: Homecoming on Sunday, May 3 at 5:00 PM, and the company plans to run shows there every first Sunday of the month moving forward. The promotion is now owned and run by Afa Anoai Jr., who spent the last decade building Battlefield Pro Wrestling. After losing his father in 2024, he said bringing WXW back felt like the right move to honor what his father created. While speaking about the return, Afa Jr. explained how much of this decision was tied to the lessons he learned growing up in the business. He also made it clear that this return isnt just about nostalgia its about keeping the legacy alive for future fans. Kevin Keenan, a former WWE referee and current NWA senior referee, will also play a key role behind the scenes as Senior Official. He has deep ties to the original WXW and said the return means a lot to him personally. He added that the goal is to mix the old-school feel fans remember with a modern style that fits todays wrestling scene. WXW: Homecoming is set for Sunday, May 3 at Mountainville Memorial Hall in Allentown, Pennsylvania, with a 5:00 PM bell time. After that, the plan is to keep the action going with monthly events at the same venue. WXW built its name in Allentown years ago, and now the promotion is betting that fans are ready to see it rise again under new leadership tied directly to the Anoai family legacy.
