Lance Archer could be nearing the end of his run with All Elite Wrestling as his contract reportedly approaches its expiration date. According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Archers current AEW deal is scheduled to run out in July, putting his future with the company in question as the summer gets closer. Archer has been part of AEW since 2020 and carved out a role as a powerful presence on the roster. Most recently, he has been associated with the Don Callis Family, working alongside names like Konosuke Takeshita as part of the group. Before signing with AEW, Archer built much of his reputation in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he found major success as both a singles competitor and tag team wrestler. During that time, he captured the IWGP United States Championship and IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships, including his run with Davey Boy Smith Jr. as part of the Killer Elite Squad. Earlier in his career, Archer also spent several years in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling from 2004 to 2009, where he teamed with Jimmy Rave as part of The Rock n Rave Infection. He later had a short stint in World Wrestling Entertainment from 2009 to 2010, competing under the name Vance Archer. With his AEW contract set to expire in July, the coming months could determine whether Archer stays with the company or looks for a new opportunity elsewhere.
