Ric Flair is going straight at WWE calling out the company for blocking his involvement with Roots of Fight and trying to damage his legacy. The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter on April 7, 2026 after finding out hes no longer allowed to be associated with Roots of Fight, and his response quickly turned into a full-on blast aimed straight at the company. Flair says WWE cut him off from the projectand hes now publicly calling them out over it. Flair kicked things off by explaining how he found out and immediately questioning the decision, while reminding everyone just how much hes accomplished under the WWE banner. He didnt stop there. Flair then shifted into his championship legacy and his history with Vince McMahon, bringing up past financial dealings to make the point that hes always done right by the companyeven when he didnt have to. Next, Flair made it clear hes not hurting financially, listing multiple income streams and even shouting out AEW President Tony Khanmaking it obvious he has options outside WWE. But then the tone shifted from frustration to something much more personal. Flair accused WWE of trying to damage his legacy, despite everything hes done for the business. That last part says everything. This isnt just a disagreementits Flair feeling like his legacy is being messed with, and hes putting WWE on blast for it. This changes the situation completely.
