Vince Russo is going all the way with his latest take saying everyone involved in WWE creative should be fired. The former WWE writer didnt hold back after a fan laid out a list of suggestions to improve the companys product following recent creative changes, including Road Dogg stepping away from the SmackDown team ahead of WrestleMania 42. The fan took to Twitter on April 5, 2026 and pitched several ideas from less scripted promos to better long-term storytelling and stronger title booking before tagging Russo for his thoughts. Russo fired back with a response that made his stance crystal clear, as he wants everyone involved in WWE Creative to be fired, so that the company can start over: Yes. Fire everybody that has anything to do with creative and start over. Thats not just criticism its a complete rejection of the current system. Russo has already been vocal about what he sees as a long-standing problem inside WWE, previously calling out leadership for being stuck in what he describes as a decades-old wrestling bubble. The timing is notable. With Road Dogg stepping away and internal shifts already happening including Alexandra Williams promotion on Raw and Ryan Ward taking on a larger coordinating role WWE is clearly in the middle of a creative transition. Russo, however, is making it clear he doesnt believe tweaks are enough. Despite the criticism, WWE continues expanding globally, with major media deals and its ongoing partnership tied to Netflix for Monday Night Raw. Still, reactions like this show that questions about creative direction arent going away anytime soon. Russos latest comment doesnt just criticize it calls for a complete overhaul at a time when WWE is heading into its biggest show of the year. Whether anyone inside the company agrees is another story entirely. Do you think WWE actually needs a full creative reset, or are smaller changes enough to fix the current product?
