Tatum Paxley finally got her championship back after Blake Monroe physically stole the belt weeks ago, and she made sure to settle the score at NXT Stand & Deliver. The NXT Womens North American Championship match had extra tension going in after Monroe stole Paxleys title on a recent episode of NXT and walked around with it like it belonged to her. Paxley came into Stand & Deliver looking to shut that down and reclaim control of her championship once and for all. Monroe kept playing dirty during the match, even grabbing the championship belt again and smashing Paxley with it in an attempt to steal another win. She followed that up with a Death Valley Driver and nearly finished Paxley off, showing she was willing to do anything to keep control of the situation she created when she stole the belt weeks earlier. Things got even more dangerous when Monroe exposed the turnbuckles, trying to slam Paxley into the steel and put her away for good. But Paxley wasnt letting Monroe walk off with her title again. In the closing moments, Paxley turned the match around and nailed Cemetery Drive to score the three-count, officially retaining her championship and taking back physical possession of the belt that Monroe had stolen from her. The win felt like payback for Paxley after weeks of Monroe carrying around her title and causing chaos around the championship picture. Now that Paxley has the belt back in her hands, the big question is whether Blake Monroe is finished or if shell try to take the championship again.
