With the NFL and college football seasons over, and the promotion seemingly on an upswing in general, "AEW Collision" has seen its numbers rise over the last few months, similar to that of its sister show "AEW Dynamite." That was again the case for the weekend of March 21, where "Collision," despite being pre-empted and split into two one hour episodes on Saturday and Sunday, saw even better numbers, thanks to a lead-in from the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament. The good times continued this past weekend. Wrestlenomics and Programming Insider report that the March 28 episode of "Collision" drew 476K total viewers, and 0.07 in the 18-49 demographic. At first glance, the numbers suggest a decent decline from last week, with total viewership down 23% from the 616K drawn from the Sunday "Collision" block, while 18-49 was down 33% from 0.12. However, the numbers hold up well against the last "Collision" held in its normal timeslot on March 14, up from that show's 458K viewers, while drawing even in 18-49.In other categories, "Collision" continues to see decent growth, with total viewership up 20% against the four week average of 398K viewers, while 18-49 is up 33% from 0.06. "Collision's" total viewership also continues to look good compared to this time last year, up 14% from 334K total viewers averaged in Q1 2025, and up 25% from March 2025's average of 348K. In contrast, "Collision's" 18-49 numbers continue to be down compared to this time last year, with the Q1 average down 33% and the March average down 22%."Collision" was headlined by an AEW International Championship defense by Kazuchika Okada ,who overcame a spirited effort from JetSpeed's Kevin Knight to retain the championship. Elsewhere, Tommaso Ciampa continued his winning ways by defeating Ace Austin, while Lena Kross and Megan Bayne made their first successful defense of the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships, defeating former champions Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale.
