Mercedes Mon just lost another championship, and her recent run keeps heading in the wrong direction. She competed on March 29 at Prime Time Wrestling in Poland, where she dropped the PTW Womens Championship to Diana Strong. The loss adds to a growing list of title defeats that have piled up in recent weeks. With that latest result, Mon is now down to just two physical championships. She currently holds the WPW Womens Championship in Canada, the APAC Womens Championship in Malaysia, which isnt defended regularly. This keeps the pattern going after Mon already lost multiple titles earlier this month. She previously dropped two belts in one night at RevPro High Stakes and had also lost the EWA Womens Championship and the CMLL Womens World Championship in quick succession. She doesnt have much time to regroup either. Mon is set to defend the WPW Womens Championship against Jody Threat on March 31, which could be another major moment depending on how that match plays out. Theres also a bigger picture here. Mon has been off AEW television since the beginning of the year after losing the AEW TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at Dynamite New Years Smash. She has said she plans to return to AEW after her upcoming title defense, which could mark her first appearance back in months. Right now, the story is simple the titles keep slipping away, and the pressure keeps building with every new defense.
