According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select on March 26, 2026, WWE is set to run a July 18 edition of Saturday Nights Main Event from Madison Square Garden a move that carries both historical weight and major scheduling implications. The biggest detail? This wont just be another special it will be the first time Saturday Nights Main Event is broadcast live from Madison Square Garden in the shows history. The July 18 edition will mark the first-ever live Saturday Nights Main Event at Madison Square Garden. While the show has been to MSG before, its only happened once back in August 2007 and that version was taped ahead of time. This makes the upcoming July event just the second MSG appearance for the special, but the first to air live, giving it a completely different level of importance. The July 18 show is scheduled for the same weekend as Fanatics Fest in New York City an event WWE is expected to be heavily involved in. By stacking Saturday Nights Main Event alongside Fanatics Fest, WWE is effectively turning that weekend into a multi-day attraction, similar to how WrestleMania weekend functions on a smaller scale.
