Eric Bischoff is going after Ricochet after his recent remarks and hes making it clear he doesnt believe any of this is an act. With Ricochet already under fire for his controversial MS comment and speculation swirling about his AEW standing, Bischoff addressed the situation on the March 20, 2026 episode of 83 Weeks and completely shut down the idea that Ricochet is working a heel character. Thats the starting point. Bischoff made it clear he doesnt see any layered storytelling or character work in Ricochets behavior instead, he believes its just who he is: I think hes just a f***** goof. From there, he shifted into Ricochets use of social media, criticizing the way hes been engaging with fans and how hes handling the backlash. Bischoff argued that even with guidance, the approach wouldnt improve: All the social media training in the world isnt going to help that idiot. He then addressed the idea that Ricochet might be trying to use controversy to build his persona and completely dismissed it. According to Bischoff, the issue isnt just what Ricochet said its how hes presenting himself overall. While Ricochet already faced backlash from fans and questions about how AEW might handle the situation, Bischoffs comments take things further turning it into a debate about whether Ricochet is working a character at all or simply hurting his own image. And with more voices jumping in, this situation isnt cooling off anytime soon. Do you think Eric Bischoff is right that Ricochet isnt playing a character, or is this just part of modern heel work thats being misunderstood?
