There were inclusions for Manchester United duo Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire while the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dominic Solanke, Lewis Hall, Tino Livramento were also recalled. Evertons James Garner is handed a first call-up and Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele is named with a view to being a training partner at the World Cup.There was no place for Real Madrid full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose World Cup dream is now likely over. The same can be said for Ollie Watkins, Morgan Gibbs-White, Luke Shaw and Danny Welbeck.Speaking about his decision to pick a larger squad for this camp, Tuchel said: We decided to divide it into basically two camps almost, so we bring players in that we havent seen who havent played so much to open up the picture, and the competition for plane tickets to the US.Then from Friday and Saturday, a group of players will come into camp 10 or 11 players who get a rest before and we will then go with a new group and mix of players into the match against Japan.Table of Contents1 England boss Tuchel finally looks at United players2 Newcastles Lewis Hall also included3 England squad in full4 Where to watch England at the World Cup5 How to watch the World Cup in the UK: TV, online live stream6 When is the World Cup? 2026 dates7 Who has qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup?8 2026 World Cup groups9 When is the opening game of the World Cup?10 When are the play-offs?England boss Tuchel finally looks at United playersThe inclusion of Mainoo and Maguire are the first for Manchester United players since Tuchel took over last January. Both men have played pivotal roles in Uniteds resurgence under Michael Carrick. Mainoo did not start a league game this season until Carrick replaced Ruben Amorim but has subsequently turned in a series of strong performances alongside Casemiro.Maguire has also been a Carrick mainstay and appears back to his best after a lengthy spell of injuries and patchy form. He won the last of his 64 caps for the Three Lions under interim boss Lee Carsley over a year ago.Calvert-Lewin has not played for England since 2021 but has been rewarded for his excellent form for Leeds.Newcastles Lewis Hall also includedThe squad also featured Newcastle defender Lewis Hall, who has an excellent chance of nailing down the troublesome left-back berth.Hall has been a shining light for Newcastle since returning from injury and impressed in keeping Lamine Yamal largely quiet over two Champions League games against Barcelona before the Magpies second-half collapse at Camp Nou.This is Tuchels last squad call before he has to select his final group for the World Cup this summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Prior to the tournament, England play two more friendlies, against New Zealand and Costa Rica in Florida in June.England squad in fullGoalkeepers:Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace), Jordan Pickford (Everton), James Trafford (Manchester City), Aaron Ramsdale (Newcastle United), Jason Steele (Brighton & Hove Albion)Defenders:Dan Burn (Newcastle United), Marc Guhi (Manchester City), Lewis Hall (Newcastle United), Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa), Tino Livramento (Newcastle United), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), Nico OReilly (Manchester City), Jarell Quansah (Bayer Leverkusen), Djed Spence (Tottenham Hotspur), John Stones (Manchester City), Fikayo Tomori (AC Milan)Midfielders:Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), James Garner (Everton), Jordan Henderson (Brentford), Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United), Declan Rice (Arsenal), Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa), Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace)Forwards:Jarrod Bowen (West Ham United), Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Leeds United), Eberechi Eze (Arsenal), Phil Foden (Manchester City), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Noni Madueke (Arsenal), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Marcus Rashford (Barcelona, loan from Manchester United), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Dominic Solanke (Tottenham Hotspur)Where to watch England at the World CupEnglands first match, against Croatia, and third, against Panama, will be on ITV.
