Toni Storm being pulled from AEW Dynamite may be more serious than it first looked and now theres concern she could be gone for a while. Speaking on the March 19, 2026 post-Dynamite show, Sean Ross Sapp revealed that theres growing concern behind the scenes about Storms condition following her removal from this weeks episode. It was noted she could be out of action for a while. Storm was originally set to face Marina Shafir in a no holds barred match on the March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, but things took a wild turn just minutes before the show. A clip dropped online showing Storm laid out in her locker room in a pool of blood, with Mina Shirakawa trying to help as Luther panicked and Renee Paquette rushed into the scene. When Dynamite kicked off, AEW announced Storm wasnt medically cleared following her Revolution match with Shafir. The backstage attack wasnt fully addressed right away, but later in the show, Shirakawa was confirmed as her replacement and she ended up beating Shafir with the Storm Zero. Still, thats not the real story anymore. The focus now is on the update because if Storm is out for an extended period of time, thats a big shift for AEWs plans. The company hasnt said anything officially beyond the not cleared update, but this is clearly more than just a last-minute change. Storm went from being in a featured match to potentially being sidelined and now everyones waiting to see how long shes actually gone.
