Jade Cargill may be holding the WWE Womens Championship, but shes making it clear she wants more than just the title she wants more matches. After winning the WWE Womens Championship from Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Nights Main Event on November 1, 2025, Cargill has only wrestled six televised matches, most of them short. Her latest came on the March 13, 2026 episode of SmackDown, where she defeated Michin. Now, with WrestleMania 42 getting closer, shes speaking up. Cargill opened up on Complex Graps and made it clear that being champion isnt enough she wants more opportunities to actually defend the title. She pointed to the current state of the womens division as part of the issue, saying a lot of talent is tied up elsewhere but still made it clear that doesnt change what she wants. Cargill didnt just stop at general frustration either she named exactly who she wants next, calling out some of the biggest names in the division. And she hasnt forgotten about Nia Jax either, bringing up their history and hinting at running that back as well. Even when it comes to alignments, Cargill made it clear shes not worried about heel vs. heel or face vs. face she just wants to compete. At the end of it all, her message stayed simple she didnt sign up just to hold the title. Cargill is set to defend the WWE Womens Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42, which is now less than a month away. For someone asking for more ring time, the timing couldnt be more critical. Shes heading into WrestleMania as champion but also as someone who feels she hasnt wrestled enough. Do you think WWE shouldve had Jade Cargill wrestling more before WrestleMania 42, or is this part of how theyre building her aura? Let us know your thoughts.
