Kevin Owens may be out of action, but hes still going to be part of the WrestleMania 42 spotlight. Its been confirmed that Owens will be in Las Vegas during WrestleMania weekend, making a public appearance at WWE World. The annual fan event is set to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 16 through April 20, bringing together fans and top WWE names for meet-and-greets and special appearances. Owens has been announced alongside Sami Zayn and recently retired AJ Styles as part of the convention lineup. While he wont be stepping into the ring, his presence keeps him connected to one of WWEs biggest weekends of the year. Owens hasnt competed since Elimination Chamber 2025, where his last match took place before plans for a major WrestleMania program were halted. His rivalry with Randy Orton had been building toward a high-profile clash at WrestleMania 41, but those plans were scrapped when Owens required neck surgery. Since then, updates on his recovery have been limited. However, Owens did offer a small glimpse of progress when he shared footage of himself doing cardio at the WWE Performance Center in November 2025. Outside of the ring, Owens is already set for another role in WWEs expanding content slate. He has been confirmed as a coach for the upcoming season of WWE LFG (Legends and Future Greats), which premieres on A&E on April 26. As of now, theres still no confirmed timeline for his in-ring return. Reports indicate that a comeback isnt expected in the immediate future, but WWE remains hopeful he could return before the end of the year if recovery continues to go well. Even without stepping between the ropes, Owens involvement in WrestleMania weekend shows hes still very much part of WWEs plans moving forward.
