LA Knights move from SmackDown to RAW last year apparently wasnt just part of WWEs routine roster shuffle it reportedly happened because Knight himself pushed for it behind the scenes. Self Made Pro revealed during a Self Made Session on March 9, 2026 that Knight made it very clear to WWE creative that he no longer wanted to stay on the blue brand after growing frustrated with his situation there. At the time, Knight had been appearing on Monday Night RAW for months while feuding with Seth Rollins and The Vision. Before that, however, he had spent several months on Friday Night SmackDown, where he was locked into programs with Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. According to Self Made Pro, Knight has never been shy about telling WWE when he feels something isnt working. That frustration reportedly boiled over during his SmackDown run. The report noted that LA Knight was especially unhappy about continuing his storyline with Solo Sikoa and he was fed up with it. According to Self Made Pro, WWE ultimately granted the request. This comes at an interesting moment for Knight, whose WrestleMania 42 situation is reportedly far from locked in. According to WrestleVotes, Knights place on the card could depend entirely on whether Bron Breakker is cleared in time for the event, as WWE is reportedly waiting on his injury status before finalizing several major matches. If Breakker is cleared, the lineup could fall into place with Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker and Brock Lesnar vs. LA Knight as part of the WrestleMania card. But if Breakker cant go, things could change quickly and Knight might be the one squeezed out. Between the backstage tension that reportedly pushed him off SmackDown and the uncertainty surrounding the WrestleMania 42 card, LA Knights path inside WWE has clearly been anything but straightforward lately. What do you think about LA Knight reportedly pushing for his move off SmackDown and should he still have a major match at WrestleMania 42? Share your thoughts and feedback.
