According to Cagematch, this weeks episode of SmackDown has become the lowest-rated WWE show of 2026 on the site, currently sitting at just 1.91 out of 10. And the reason behind that brutal rating appears pretty clear. The majority of voters on the site handed the show a 0 rating, with many users pointing directly to Rhodes defeating Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship as the moment that triggered the backlash. The reaction comes after fans already flooded WWEs official YouTube channel with dislikes following the title change. The video of Rhodes championship victory quickly became WWEs most disliked YouTube video of 2026, racking up more than 58,000 dislikes compared to roughly 17,000 likes. The match itself closed the show from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, with Rhodes regaining the title in a chaotic main event. The closing stretch included referee bumps and a steel chair attempt from McIntyre before Jacob Fatu appeared and stopped him. That distraction allowed Rhodes to hit a Cody Cutter followed by Cross Rhodes to secure the victory and reclaim the championship. Despite the backlash, the result sets up the direction for WrestleMania. Rhodes is now scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton in Las Vegas after Orton won the 2026 Mens Elimination Chamber match and later attacked Rhodes with an RKO.
