Danhausen may have only just arrived in WWE, but early signs suggest the company is already seeing results where it matters merchandise. According to PWInsider, WWE officials are said to be pleasantly surprised with the merchandise numbers Danhausen has generated since debuting with the company. The report also notes that Danhausen is scheduled to be at the WWE Performance Center this week and is expected to appear at this Fridays episode of SmackDown as WWE continues evaluating how to use him. Interestingly, Danhausen has not yet been assigned to a specific brand, which means that his long-term role between Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown is still being figured out internally. The early sales success comes shortly after Danhausen made his surprise WWE debut at Elimination Chamber 2026 in Chicago, where he emerged from a mystery crate and immediately became one of the nights most talked-about moments. The former AEW star quickly followed that appearance with a memorable segment on the March 2 episode of Monday Night Raw, where he crossed paths with Dominik Mysterio backstage and placed what he called a curse on the Judgment Day member. Later that same night, Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship to Penta which naturally led many fans online to jokingly credit Danhausens curse for the title change. This comes after Booker T had predicted that Danhausens unusual gimmick could become a major merchandising opportunity if WWE leans into the character. While speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker said Danhausens presentation could easily translate into strong product sales. With WWE reportedly already impressed by his merchandise performance and the character still finding its place on television Danhausen may be proving that his unusual gimmick translates into business faster than expected.
