After months of speculation and quiet rumblings, Paul Walter Hauser has officially confirmed it hes attached to portray WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, and the project is moving forward as a limited series. Hauser had previously revealed in late 2025 that hed been approached about playing Foley, along with other wrestling legends. At the time, details were vague and nothing had been formally announced. Now, thats changed. While speaking to The Stunner on February 18, 2026, Hauser broke the news himself and confirmed the project is real. Rather than a traditional biopic film, the Foley story is being developed as a limited series potentially allowing for a deeper exploration of his legendary career, from Cactus Jack to Mankind to Dude Love and beyond. Hauser also made it clear this wont just be a greatest-hits collection of hardcore bumps and Hell in a Cell moments. He wants to capture the full human being behind the characters. And most importantly, Hauser made it clear that the project will focus on the man not just the mask. The project has not yet gone to market, and no network or streaming platform has been announced. But with Hauser officially attached, the long-discussed Foley biographical project now appears to have real momentum. Please credit Ringside News if you use the above transcript in your publication.
