Between filming Percy and the Olympians and later working in London on The Beekeeper 2 alongside Jason Statham, the former world champion has been focused on movies instead of wrestling. While speaking during a Q&A session on February 16, 2026, WrestleVotes shared that AEW is internally expecting Copeland back in time for Double or Nothing, which is reportedly set for Louis Armstrong Stadium in New York City this Spring. That timing would make sense. Double or Nothing is one of AEWs flagship pay-per-views, and bringing Copeland back in a 14,00015,000 seat open-air venue would give the show a major boost. So if plans hold, Copelands Hollywood hiatus could wrap just in time for an epic return on one of AEWs biggest stages in years.
