Natalya just explained the meaning behind her controversial Twitter postand shes not apologizing for any of it.
After completing her character change during the January 26, 2026 episode of WWE RAW in Toronto, Natalya shocked viewers again by posting an image of herself urinating on a tombstone that read WWE Superstar Natalya. The photo set social media on fire, with fans unsure whether it was a storyline stunt, a real-life statement, or just an unhinged shot at herself. Now, shes cleared the airand made it even more intense.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio on January 29, Natalya was asked directly about the image and the meaning behind it. She didnt hold back. Natalya started by saying the message behind the post was clear to her, and shes leaving the interpretation up to everyone else:
She went on to explain that the tweet wasnt just an act of rebellionit was symbolic. For Natalya, Nattie isnt a gimmick or a rebrand. Its a version of herself she buried long agoand is now bringing back with purpose.
Natalya admitted the entire week had been an emotional rollercoaster, especially after receiving heavy criticism online. But she also said the backlash hasnt shaken her confidence. She also made it clear that pleasing people is no longer her priority:
Natalya quoted John Cena to describe how public reactions come with the territoryand that once something is out in the world, it belongs to everyone else. Finally, Natalya said shes at peace with all of itthe betrayal, the post, and the new energy behind her return as Nattie.
Natalya is clearly stepping into a darker, more unapologetic chapter of her WWE careerand shes daring anyone to stop her.
