Triple H mightve said R-Truth was never actually fired from WWEbut Truths got a very different take.
On WWE Unreal, Triple H claimed that R-Truths contract didnt lapse during a stalled negotiation and that Truth was never formally released. But in a new interview on The Breakfast Club, R-Truth pushed back on that version of eventssharing how blindsided and emotionally wrecked he felt by the call. According to Triple H, the goal was to push for a new deal:
But R-Truth says he wasnt even part of those discussionshis agent was handling it alland the call he got told a completely different story.
He never got a flight, never got a schedule, and the message was clear, There was no flight. No calendar. What do you call that? When Triple H later said R-Truth wasnt actually let go, Truth explained:

And while WWEs official stance may be that Truth was never released, his personal experience tells another story entirelyone that left him emotionally gutted and uncertain about what came next.
