Despite fan speculation and a busted championship belt, WWE Womens World Champion Stephanie Vaquer isnt going anywhere.

Following weeks of storyline heat with Raquel Rodriguezand real concerns about Vaquers visible ankle injurySean Ross Sapp has clarified that WWE currently has no plans to strip her of the title. Speaking on Fightful Select, Sapp gave a full update on Vaquers status after fans questioned whether shed be forced to vacate the gold.

Vaquers injurya sprained anklewas serious enough to require a walking boot, but not enough to take her off the table completely.

That said, unless her condition takes a sudden turn, Vaquer is still expected to defend her titlelikely against Raquel Rodriguez, who has already attacked her twice on RAW in recent weeks.

The drama between Vaquer and Rodriguez escalated even further on the January 12 episode of RAW, when Raquel not only attacked Vaquer again but also broke her championship belt in the process. Raquel later posted about the damage, writing, I dont want to brag but.. I broke the title tonight oops

Vaquer responded by posting the torn metal strap on Instagram with an angry emojiclearly not amused by the destruction or Raquels attitude.

Despite the chaos, Vaquers reign continuesfor now. WWE appears committed to the feud, and the title isnt changing hands unless something drastic happens behind the scenes.

Do you think Stephanie Vaquer should risk defending her title with an ankle injury? Or should WWE hold off until shes 100%? Sound off in the comments and let us know.
