Steve Maclin isnt going anywhereat least for now.

Following weeks of speculation about his TNA status, a new report from PWInsider.com confirms that Maclin has come to terms with TNA Wrestling on a contract extension. The deal is said to be an extension of his current contract, which was originally set to expire at the end of 2025. While the length of the new extension has not been disclosed, it appears Maclin will remain a key player in TNA moving forward.

This update comes after it was previously reported that Maclin was working under a one-year extension signed in 2024. The timing raised eyebrows, especially since Maclin recently regained the TNA International Championship by defeating Frankie Kazarian at Bound For Glory. Hes also a former TNA World Champion and has become one of the companys most consistent performers.

Despite the extension, Maclin is still accepting independent bookings through April, signaling that the terms of the deal may allow some outside appearances during TNAs ongoing resurgence.

Maclin, who spent seven years in WWE and was formerly part of The Forgotten Sons, has now been with TNA for over four years.

Is locking down Steve Maclin the right move for TNAs future? Or should they focus on building up new talent? Let us know where you stand in the comments.
