TNA is going all-in for its AMC premiere this Thursday night from 9 to 11 PM, and the lineup is stackedbut all eyes are on AJ Styles and what his appearance might really mean.

Announced several days ago, Styles is confirmed for the show, but tickets havent exactly flown out the door. Despite that, the presence of a megastar like AJ Styles has sparked speculation about a return to in-ring action, possibly as soon as this weekends pay-per-view.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, theres reason to believe a Styles match could be in the works. While current plans have Frankie Kazarian going one-on-one with Mike Santana for the TNA World Title during the AMC debut, Meltzer noted:

Theres more fuel for that fireTNA has a pay-per-view scheduled just two days after the AMC debut, and Bryan Alvarez floated the idea of doing Kazarian vs. AJ Styles at that event instead. Meltzer didnt shoot it down either:

So while Santana vs. Kazarian might be happening on AMC, theres still a chance Kazarian vs. AJ Styles is the long-term play. TNA may have pivoted their plans, but with AJ in the building, it wouldnt take much to spark an angle and make it official.

Oh, and if youre wondering why Perez Hilton is also on the card youre not alone. Meltzer couldnt hide his confusion:

With TNA stacking Thursdays debut and another big event two nights later, dont be surprised if AJ Styles steps back into the ring for a TNA match this weekendespecially if it means settling some unfinished business with Kazarian.
